OzOS is a lean, fast, free and up-to-date GNU/Linux distribution based on Ubuntu and the Enlightenment Desktop Manager.
"Monte Carlo" is the first full release of OzOS. It is built on a minimal (X)Ubuntu 8.04 base and on the latest builds of the Enlightenment (e17) code. "Monte Carlo" is available as a Live CD for either 32bit or 64bit PCs and as a desktop meta-package that can be installed to extend an existing Debian GNU/Linux installation.
OzOS 1.0 "Monte Carlo" is a community project by CafeLinux.org and is supported through on-line forums and documentation at this site.
