Ok. An attempt at some intro text and a basic entry template using Accessories as an example:
What is apt:foo?
a) a Yiddish phrase meaning "now where is that software package I need and how do I install it?" - as in "Oi! apt:foo! God forbid this should be easy!"; or
b) an obscure reference to the ancient Tien Shan animist demi-god ferret, Harrptfu, who would suddenly appear to believers bearing the very thing they just thought of; or
c) a web site that uses your debian-based linux OS's in-built package manager ("apt") to seamlessly find, download and install free software packages with just one mouse click.
Still confused? Excellent! Either read on to enjoy more padding text or just scroll down to find the software you want and "apt:foo" it.
Enjoy.
